How to pick a tool here

This hub collects every image converter on the site: conversions between PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, BMP, GIF, ICO and SVG, together with the neighbouring operations you usually need in the same session — compression, resizing and cropping.

Format choice normally comes down to three jobs. For the web you want WebP or AVIF, which deliver the same frame two to three times lighter and shorten page load directly. For printing and for sending files to other people JPG is safer, because everything opens it. For screenshots, logos and anything with a transparent background PNG stays the right answer: it keeps hard edges crisp and supports an alpha channel.

HEIC and AVIF deserve a separate note. iPhones shoot HEIC, and Windows, older editors and many document upload forms simply refuse it. AVIF increasingly arrives from websites while desktop software still cannot read it. The two converters below solve exactly that, in one step and without installing anything.

All of these tools process files locally in the browser through Canvas, so the image never reaches a server. That makes them safe for scans, contracts and unreleased design work. No account, no upload queue, no limit on how many files you run.
