Paste the caption you copied from the TikTok share sheet into the «TikTok caption or share text» box and the tool breaks it apart: the readable sentence without its tail of hashes, the hashtag list on its own, the @mentions on their own, and any links separately. That is what you want when you are studying how a video that performed well was written, moving your own caption into a content plan, or cleaning up an old post before you repost it. No. The tool never opens the TikTok page or calls the platform API — it only works on text you paste yourself. Copy the caption from the app, or use the share sheet and paste what it gives you. If you paste a bare URL, you will get a Links block and an empty caption block, which is expected rather than a bug.
Paste the full post and press Generate. The Result block lists the tags on their own, without the sentence or the mentions, so you can copy the set straight into the draft of your next video or into the spreadsheet where you keep tag sets per topic. The original order of the tags is preserved.
Yes. Cyrillic tags such as #домашняятренировка are recognised the same way Latin ones are, and emoji stay in the caption block instead of being swallowed into a tag. The one thing that breaks is a hashtag glued to the next word with no space — TikTok will not register that tag either, so treat it as a hint to fix the post.
Everything is parsed by a script on the page. The caption is not uploaded anywhere and is not stored between visits: press Reset or reload the tab and the field is empty again. That makes it safe to run drafts you have not published yet through the tool.
It does. The parser is not really TikTok-specific: it looks for hash-prefixed words, @handles and URLs, so an Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts description splits just as cleanly. Only the habits differ — Shorts descriptions usually carry fewer tags, so the hashtag block comes out shorter.
The field is built for one caption. Paste two posts and their tags and mentions land in the same lists while the two sentences merge into a single block. If you are comparing posts, run them one at a time, press Reset in between, and collect the results in your own sheet.
